Ingredients
Spring water and alcohol (25%) plus extracts of Glycyrrhiza, Passiflora, Rubus idaeus, Valeriana officinalis and Zingiberis
Precautions
Store in a cool, dark place away from strong odours.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
To be used as a dietary supplement and not as a substitute for appropriate veterinary care where necessary.
Directions
Give 2 – 3 drops on a morsel of food hourly, or as often as needed before, during and after a journey, to ease stress and restore calm.
Increase this to hourly dosing (more frequently if necessary), during a journey as necessary, for maximum comfort.
Also add a little to your pet’s drinking water, and sprinkle on their bedding, and in the immediate surroundings. Another option is to add several drops to a small spray bottle containing spring water, shaken well and sprayed into the air around your pet and on their bedding
Continue for as long as necessary.
NOTE:
These steps are best repeated every time a journey is undertaken, for as long as needed.
The aim is to naturally calm and reduce the intensity of Fight / Flight reactions over time, until a pet feels safe and secure when in a moving car, train, boat etc. and unpleasant reactions to motion (salivation, queasiness etc) are no longer triggered.
Depending on how sensitive a pet is to travelling, this period of desensitisation can vary from several weeks to 6 months or more.
As with all behavioural reconditioning, patience, reassurance and repetition are key for success.
